  • Job Summary

    • Responsible for working with Divisional and Regional Production Management to drive the sourcing and recruiting process for all production positions

    Essential Functions

    • Develop a production recruiting strategy that aligns with organizational growth goals
    • Directly manage, hire and train internal production recruiting resources
    • Administer approved external recruiter relationships (including payment and tracking of results/return)
    • Develop selection standards and candidate hiring scorecard
    • Collaborate with HR to develop offer guidelines and exception process
    • Coordinate assessment, background, offer and on boarding with HR, branch and candidate
    • Coordinate with Training on new hire's completion of time sensitive webinars and Core Fundamentals
    • Coordinate with Finance for productivity tracking of new hire results during first 6 months
    • Partner with Production Leaders and recruiters to develop and maintain an active recruiting candidate pipeline
    • Identify key metrics to drive recruiting strategy and prepare reporting
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to recruit and hire qualified production staff nationwide; research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
    • Conduct regular follow-up with Managers/Regionals to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
    • Coach hiring managers on recruiting best practices.
    • Represent the organization at various functions in an effort to effectively market the Company
    • Plan staffing levels; work with Human Resources to recruit, interview, select, hire and employ an appropriate number of employees
    • Provide oversight and direction in the operating unit(s) in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures; delegate responsibilities appropriately expecting accountability
    • Coach, mentor and develop staff, providing career development planning and opportunities
    • Lead employees to meet organization’s expectations for productivity, quality and goal accomplishment
    • Provide effective performance feedback
    • Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department
    • Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals
    • Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures
    • Review performance data to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness
    •  Maintain communication with internal and external contacts (including senior leadership levels) as necessary to ensure expectations and timelines are met
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    Job Requirements

    • High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Minimum 7 years mortgage industry experience required
    • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience required
    • Familiarity with investor guidelines and protocol; Extensive knowledge of applicable state and federal laws
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with various levels within the organization, influence outcomes
    • Ability to work well under pressure and handle delicate situations with diplomacy and tact
    • Ability to demonstrate solid detail orientation, critical thinking and analytical skills
    • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritizing the work load and multi-tasking
    • Excellent PC skills, with an emphasis Microsoft Office Suite
    • Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability
    • Displays excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Strong customer service orientation
