Job Summary
- Under the direction of the Product Development Manager, reviews and maintains all programs used by PrimeLending
- For this role, we need an experienced Product Specialist proficient in government product offerings (FHA, VA, USDA)
Essential Functions
- Current government (FHA, VA, USDA) mortgage products experience
- Prepare and maintain guidelines pertaining to FHA, VA, USDA products
- Responsible for communicating and training branch personnel with regard to government loan products, as well as any other specialty product as needed
- Remains current on all product guidelines and provides updates to branch personnel as applicable
- Maintains and updates information on company portal with regard to all products
- Works directly with investors both to resolve any underwriting issues or concerns
- Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures
- Ability and willingness to research new offerings in the industry to keep a competitive edge
- Create and develop job aids and additional resources to help educate branch personnel as needed
- Collaborate as a team member to offer insight to enhance current product offerings
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- High School diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years product development experience within the mortgage industry required
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels within the organization
Ability to demonstrate excellent detail orientation, critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability

Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office suite
