  • Job Summary

     

    Responsible for serving visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; answers telephone calls and routes them to appropriate parties.

    Essential Functions

      

    • Answers telephone and routes calls appropriately; adheres to standard operating procedure regarding appropriate hold times
    • Greets visitors courteously, determines reason for visit and directs them to the appropriate personnel
    • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges as appropriate
    • Maintains and updates phone listing
    • Orders office supplies as needed and handles delivery of equipment, etc.
    • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
    • Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures
    • May participate in small ad-hoc assignments/projects in support of other areas
    • Other duties as assigned or required
    • Branch specific Receptionists may also:
    • Assist branch personnel with obtaining various loan documents and requesting additional loan information
    • May receive, sort and distribute incoming mail; may send outgoing mail by appropriate method
    • Maintains non-confidential employee information for branch employees.
    • Maintains filing system for reports and other documents as requested

     

    Job Requirements

     

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 1 year related experience
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels within the organization
    • Ability to demonstrate detail orientation and analytical skills
    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Displays time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
