We are seeking a Technology Product Analyst to work under the direction of the Technology Product Manager which will work with Production, Operations and Information Technology personnel to identify workflow issues and define business requirements for IT technology specification development. The Technology Product Analyst will ensure that all products have needed capabilities to increase productivity and usability.

 

Essential Functions

  • Works with Product Manager to define product strategy and roadmap with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
  • Consults with Product Manager and business staff to develop understanding of the varied and complex business needs (current and changing) supported by the system.
  • Provides ideas and recommendations regarding the integration of the system in day to day business and the evolution of the system.
  • Build effective relationships with business units/departments, outside vendors, and project manager in support of the systems and corporate processes and ensure the client’s business needs have been met.
  • Conducts research and analysis into the nature, effect and results of system problems.
  • Develops detailed business user requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and data modeling.
  • Negotiates plans, time frames and tradeoffs while ensuring client understands the final results of the project.
  • Ensures current and accurate system documentation, coordinates and/or performs testing of system modifications, and develops, provides, or coordinates system training, educational tools and materials.
  • Assist and troubleshoot user computer application inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Respond to requests via Footprints to track details or steps taken to resolve issues and route problems/requests as reported.
  • Review implemented system changes/improvements and provide feedback on overall effect to all users, including testing, documentation, and subject matter input.
  • Engages in industry/professional networks to gain awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge.
  • Maintain a professional image, positive attitude, and adhere to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with business operations or systems development, or equivalent combination of education and experience in one or more specific areas of business, such as insurance, underwriting, financial, manufacturing, or Business Process Reengineering concepts and methods.
  • Someone that is comfortable working in technology as well as someone who has 2-3 years of operations experience working in mortgage.
  • Must be familiar with Loan Documents and the Loan Process from start to finish.
  • Ability to work in an extremely busy environment.
  • Experienced doing deployments once a month.
  • Experience or familiarity with SQL Statements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with branch, regional and corporate personnel.
  • Demonstrated analytical and negotiation skills with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, VISIO, VB, other graphic software or similar programs.
  • Ability to understand concepts governing relational database structures, use reporting/query tools, and construct SQL statements.
  • Must be available to work all regularly scheduled hours; arriving at scheduled reporting time and at the prescribed time after any breaks or lunch periods.
  • Must be able to work overtime, as required.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Valid driver’s license and current automobile liability insurance.
