We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst that will work under the direction of the Business Intelligence Manage.  The Business Intelligence Analyst conducts thorough data analysis, helps design and implement analytics programs, generates reports/dashboards, and collaborates with various teams to ensure that we streamline and optimize our resources and processes. 

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate to perform data and process analyses required
  • Procure buy in from stakeholders
  • Define requirements and provide simplified explanations
  • Synthesize data and feedback from users, clients, and management
  • Contribute to short and long-term goal setting
  • Develop action plans and aide in accountability
  • Collaborate regularly with various teams, including market analytics
  • Develop and utilize dashboards effectively
  • Develop, analyze, and modify processes, data structures, and models
  • Interact with clients to evaluate products and performance
  • Make data-driven decisions and recommendations
  • Articulately and concisely explain the implications of complex data
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing prospective technology solutions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting software application issues
  • Analyze data contained in corporate databases to identify data integrity issues
  • Assist Business Analysts in the gathering of requirements specific to support complex technology initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party software integration partners.
  • Create Use Cases, User Stories or other required technical assets based on business requirements.
  • Communicate software limitations, functionality to non-technical users.
  • Facilitate and organized meetings with project stakeholders
  • Optimizes and administers current queries
  • Configures and promotes objects through development to production using version control system
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or a combination of related experience and education.
  • Additional certifications that exemplify a desire for continued education is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in analytics or relevant field
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, databases, web-based applications
  • Advanced to Expert working with SQL
  • Significant work experience with SSIS or similar data integration tools
  • Significant experience with PowerBI a plus
  • Mortgage experience is highly desired
  • Keen eye for details and aptitude for working with data
  • Highly accurate and thorough in all tasks
  • Exceptional organizational and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
  • Proven experience as a collaborative team player
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with R is a plus
  • Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.
  • Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
