  • Job Summary

    Under the direction of the Branch Manager or Operations Manager, assists branch staff with loan file set-up.


    Essential Functions

    • Assembles and logs file documents submitted by loan originators and distributes to processing staff.
    • Assists loan originators and processors by ordering property related items as needed. (i.e., appraisals, title, insurance, etc.)
    • Assists processors in obtaining VOE, VOR, and other documents as needed.
    • Reviews file documents to verify appropriate documents and disclosures are included.
    • Uploads documents and information into appropriate software programs.
    • Reviews and prepares invoices for payment and tracks to verify payments have been made.
    • May assist with receptionist duties and cover telephones for processors when necessary.
    • Assists with managing office supplies and office equipment.
    • Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of 1 year processing experience.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with branch, regional and corporate personnel, as well as title companies, appraisers, etc.
    • Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability.
    • Must be available to work all regularly scheduled hours; arriving at scheduled reporting time and at the prescribed time after any breaks or lunch periods.
    • Must be able to work overtime, as required.
